The food culture of America

1. Introduction
The reasons why I wanted to research the term that I’m interested in American foodstuff. I had an imagination that American foods would be too big, too much, too sweat and too fat but so yammy. That was a true; in fact I sometimes could not finish eating any meal in Minnesota in the same as my friends who went to Minnesota with me. But I could know American foods more when I went to Minnesota in home stay this summer. American people have special dinner and also have long breakfast in a day off that Japanese don’t have them. And then, I was surprised that my host family didn’t answer the phone whenever we had a special dinner even if the phone keeps ringing. I found so many differences between food culture of Japan and America. I researched history of American food culture. So I would like to introduce the food culture below.

2. Research in Japan
The food culture of America developed, accepting it of Native American and a lot of immigrants of many countries. America has so big and so much dishes to use many abundant foodstuffs. For example, beef, corn, bean, fruits, dairy products. In the past, America developed canned, processed foodstuffs and frozen foods. They also mechanized all things because they had a large territory but they had problem a population shortage. So they made the most of theirs time to use the machines. And then, American became to eat a light meal and a snack just like a hamburger, hotdog, fried chicken and French fried.
In Japan, people often eat well-balanced fish, meat, vegetables and so on. Most of the tastes in Japan are weaker than American tastes. Most of Japanese are skinny. I thought that the big physique difference of American and Japanese is related to the food culture.

3. Research in Minnesota
First, canned provisions are famous food in Minnesota. I knew that people of Minnesota had a lot of canned foods. When I went to home stay, there were so many kinds of canned food. For example, they are tomato, turkey, beef, chicken, fish, beans, some vegetable and so on. The reason why there are many canned foods is there is so cold place. So in Minnesota, it is very difficult for people to go out active in winter. Minnesota is a snowy country, so the use of canned foods is now widespread among the general public.
Next, Minnesota also had chocolates and hamburgers. Especially, there were so many hamburger shops. I was taken by my host family away to go to hamburger shops many times. This is what I thought most famous hamburger shop is McDonald’s. That was a true, but my host family and I didn’t go to McDonald’s. I knew that there were not only McDonald’s but also the other famous hamburger shops. And then, they had big hamburger which I could not finish to eat. My host family always ordered potato flies with hamburger. They dipped ketchup doing too much. In Japan, people prefer to salt rather than ketchup but they dipped ketchup after sprinkle salt on potato flies in America. I found in the hamburger shops that is a cause of American people like very strong tasting.
They also had chocolates which people know famous souvenir. Minnesota had lots of chocolates more than Japan. There were lots of kinds of tasting chocolates. The tasting were milk, strawberry, caramel, mint, bitter and so on. There was selling things of chocolates in addition to family pack. There were many chocolates in living room. So I could eat some chocolates any times.
Finally, it was interesting to me that all American restaurants where I went to restaurants gave me a refill many times. The waitress asked for more whenever I drunk a coffee. When I was in Minnesota, I also ate Mexican food with my host mom and dad’s sister. There were some famous restaurants of Mexican food in America. Mexican food is more than American food. We couldn’t finish eating the food, so we took out in our house for my host dad. As usual, I can not take out any food almost of restaurants in Japan, but I could take out all of the food in the restaurant there. It is very nice system. I thought Japan should accept the system. If Japan can, we do not leave anything.

4. Conclusion
I traced the history of American food culture, and then I found that America called a superpower always produced many foods efficiently. So I thought that the facility food culture (for example frozen foods, retort foods and canned foods) made by America. In specially, Minnesota is a pretty cold place as much as the snow lays one or two meters deep so people eat lots of canned foods in winter. So my host mom said it is so important for them who +live Minnesota to have preserved foods in winter. And she showed me canned foods. I was surprised because she had so many kinds of canned foods more than Japanese canned foods.
I found the other point of American foods. That is America have so many kinds of foods of a foreign countries. In fact, there were many kinds of people in Minnesota. When I was in Minnesota, I ate foods of ethnic, Mexican, Italian, Chinese and Japanese. I tried to eat something that I didn’t eat before I went to Minnesota.
America also has a lot of fast foods. Hamburgers, fried potato, chips, fried chicken and so on. Actually, I went to fast food restaurant and shop with my mom and dad many times. They said we usual go to out for eating three or four a week. My family usual goes to out for eating about once a month. Only my family and host family, American people go to out for eating more than Japanese.
Compare the food culture of America and Japanese, American foods were more strong taste than Japanese foods.
I could know history of American food culture in this summer. If I have a next opportunity that I research something, I really would like to study about America or Minnesota again.

Podcast episode 4

From now, I will introduce Nami. She is a mate in Mugiwara prate ship. Her art of navigation is wonderful! She helps all members of Mugiwara prate ship whenever the sea is troubled. I think that she is very smart and cute. If she is not in Mugiwara prate ship, they can’t make a voyage in comfort. She likes orange and money so much. She always takes good care of her some orange trees. She sometimes depend on Sanzi who is a cook in Mugiwara prate ship. To tell the truth, she has craft. But she think that all members of Mugiwara are good friends and looking after them everyday.

Dangerous DINING

From now on, I will introduce a book “Dangerous DINING”. The book is also kind of national geographic. In Japan, most of people like fish that is a famous food in Japan. One of the major seafood markets in Tokyo is Tsukiji, there are so many people who is fish sellers every morning. Tukiji is the best seafood market in Japan of my thinking. I have never been to Tukiji, but I want to go to there someday.
Asakusa in Tokyo, there are known lots of restaurants area. The restaurants have more than 80 menus of fugu. Fugu is the danger because they have poison, but people like dish of fugu. I already know that fugu have poison, but I also like fugu. I have eaten sashimi of fugu about two or three times in Amakusa where is my father’s country. It was so delicious and it made me happy.
If you want to cook dish of fugu, you have to get a fugu license because fugu toxin is a very strong poison. In fact, one milligram of the toxin is strong enough to kill a person. If I have poisoned, I probably couldn’t have move anytime. So chefs of Japanese　restaurants have to cook fugu very seriously. After World War Ⅱ, many people death from eating fugu. They didn’t know that is about poison of fugu.
We are protected safety by many cooks whenever we eat fugu. I would like to have fugu in the future during I appreciated them.

Living with a Volcano

I read a book “Living with a Volcano” today. The book also is kind of national geographic. I have never seen a volcano in my life. Of course, I have seen volcano news on TV. It looked like an amazing as powerful fireworks. I knew that it’s a small group of scientists who have watching Mount Etna their life’s work. They called volcanologists. Mount Etna is more than 10,000 feet high. That is as high as Mount Fuji in Japan. I thought the volcanologists risk theirs life for working. A few people say volcano is beautiful, but I don’t think so because volcano is often so dangerous. I heard lots of people injured for the far past.

I was also surprised that Mount Etna is always changing. Lava shot a quarter of a mile into the air. Huge black clouds of smoke and ash erupted out of the crater, as gases from deep within the earth were released. I felt again the nature is so big. So we have to living together.

The Missing Snows of KILIMANJARO

Now, I am going to introduce a book “The Missing Snows of KILIMANJARO”. The book is kind of national geographic. When I read the book, I knew the first time that Mount Kilimanjaro rises 19,340 feet, or nearly four miles, into the sky. That is so high, so I was really surprised. I have climbed the little mountain just only one time, but it was very hard for me. So I thought that the mountain climbing is pretty difficult, and then I should prepare anything perfectly for the mountain climbing.

In winter, the mountain has a lot of faces. A famous American writer called Ernest Hemingway expressed the many scenes on his story. That was “The Snows of Kilimanjaro”. I thought so when I looked the picture of next page. There was spreading the ice field. It was so beautiful, but unfortunately some ice fields were gone. I don’t know where the field is. The reason why the snow is disappearing, I think maybe global warming. That is not good. So we have to think many things for protecting the nature in the future. I would like to start anything I can. It is very important for us to think one by one.

My favorite pasta

Now, I will talk about my favorite pasta. My favorite pasta is pasta of this picture. The pasta　is included　yuba, cream of soybean milk, chicken soboro and so on. The pasta is made by Ninnikuya that is Italian restaurant at Hikarinomori. That is so great!!! I loved the pasta the best of my life. The pasta always made me happy whenever I eat the dish. But the pasta is abolished from menu because people didn’t order the pasta, and then know that the pasta is delicious. I was very sad. I hope that the pasta come back the menu someday. If I can learn how to make the pasta, I really want to cook the pasta. And, I would like to treat the pasta. (^ω^)

Today, I will talk about Rorornoa Zoro. He is a fighting man in Mugiwara pirate ship. I love him the best!!! He is soooo cool and wild. He is a very important character of One Piece because he is a swordsman and he is so strong. I often worry about him whenever I watch TV and I read comic because he always injures himself seriously for helping the other members. But his battle scene is pretty excited and cool. I think that he does a stoic way of life. And then, he does rigorous training everyday. If I can, I want to see him just only once. I know that I can not. From this time on, I want to keep reading comic and watching TV anytime. And, I would like to keep aidding Rorornoa Zoro.

My favorite T-shirt

Today, I would like to introduce my favorite T-shirts. My favorite T-shirt is this picture. The T-shirt draws a keyboard. That is very cute. The T-shirt designed by aiko. I was very glad when I bought the T-shirt. May 1st, I bought the T-shirt in Fukuoka where the live of aiko hold there. I put on the T-shirt, and then I enjoyed the live about two or three hour. I was so excited. My friends also bought the T-shirt there. So people wore the same T-shirt in the concert hall. Of course, aiko was wearing then. It made me very happy!!! I am going to keep having the T-shirt carefully. And if I can, I want to wear and show aiko the T-shirt. aiko maybe is glad. I hope so.

My favorite singer

I love aiko so much!!! I will talk about her to you from now. She is a very famous singer in Japan. She is a short girl, and then very cute and fashionable. Her style is casual, so Japanese people copy her style. And then, her songs are very nice! She writes the lyrics all of her songs. I always can empathize with her lyrics so I feel powerful emotions anytime when I hear her songs. The melodies of her songs also make me so happy and powerful. The melodies are unique and rhythmical because the intervals go up and down many times. So it is too difficult for me to sing her songs perfectly, but I always enjoy listening to her music anywhere. I have been to her live at Fukuoka. I had never been to her live so I was soooo excited. She was very cute and frank just as my expected. I have a very nice day!!! I love her more and more. I am looking forward to go to her live again. And then, I want to see her and I want to shake hands with her someday.

Seiji Ozawa

Seiji Ozawa was a famous Japanese orchestra conductor. In 1935, he was born in Hoten, China. When he was 17 years old, he hunt in a rugby accident, turned from piano playing to conducting. 8 years later, he won Koussevitsky Prize for outstanding student conductor. The next year, he made assistant conductor under Leonard Bernstein of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. A few years later, he served as conductor of the Toronto Symphony. At the age of 38, he hired as director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra where he stayed until 2002.

Amelia Earhart was a famous aviator. In 1897, she was born in Atchison, Kansas. At the age of 25, she received her pilot license. Seven years later, she helped found the “Ninety-Nines”, an international organization of women pilots that still exists. The next year, she became the first women to fly across the Atlantic alone; received honors from French and American governments. A few years later, Flew alone from Hawaii to California. A very saddest thing happened to me on my first day of part-time job

I started part-time job at Hikarinomori when I was a freshman. The first day of the job, my boss gave me the first job. My boss asked me some drinks take customs. Then I was very nerves because I have never worked anywhere. I took the customs the drinks. But I dropped the tray then and all of the coffees has been spilt in theirs pasta. The customs were very kind so them was not angry. It was relieved. But my boss was very angry so I had a very sad experience.

From now, I would like to introduce some information of One Piece’s main character. 1^st character is Monkey. D. Luffy. He is a captain of Mugiwara pirate ship. He has a special ability, called Akumanomi, the ability is like a gum. All of his body is highly elastic rubber, so he can move somewhere by using his arms. I always think that I’m so jealous about his ability when I watch the animation of One Piece on TV. He usual makes merry with mates, but he change very strongly on a battle. So he is loved every fellows. Of course, I love him so much!!! His brother, Portgas. D. Ace, died already. So Luffy is very sad now, and then he and his fellows are so far places each other. I expect gather them and Luffy recover his health. I believe that he get One Piece someday.

Today I’m going to introduce my favorite travel. My favorite travel is travel in Osaka with my circle metes this spring. We made a voyage for a whole day. And we went to hotel as soon as we have arrived Osaka. Next day, we went to Universal Studio Japan. I was looking forward to go to there in my best, probably my friends also thought the same thing. I will talk about my favorite elementary school memory from now. I belonged to a basketball club when I was an elementary school student, so there is a lot of memories the basketball club. I stared playing basketball when I was a fourth-year student. The club was so hard and a little bit difficult for me but basketball was very fun. I could make so many friends in the club. I also have been playing the piano and swimming then. I went to Santou preschool to take piano lesson every Friday. And then, I went to Marine swimming school every Wednesday. About my room

My room is sometimes messy, sometimes clean. My mother sometimes is angry because our room is messy. I hold with my sister the room in common. So it is difficult for me to clean up always. There is a sofa with the spots of a leopard and there are two desks for studying. My sister and I often spend the room together. There is a calendar next to one desk. There is also a wardrobe next to the other desk. We have lots of CDs so there is a component stereo between on desk and the other desk. I feel very cozy in the room. A book review "Great Expectations"

I red a book that is "Great Expectations" today. So I will introduce the book from now. The story based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The book also illustrated by Barry Ablett. When I red the book first time, I thought that the story is probably a sad story, because I felt that the pictures of the book was a little poor color. That’s was true, but I knew anything from the story. The story was composed of 7 chapters.
The 1st chapter is “The man in the mist”. One day, a boy visited a graveyard because he pay a visit to a grave for his father, mother and little brother. I thought that the churchyard was totally deserted. He met a man with a scary face. I felt that the man is very terrible.

The story was a little bit sad, but It grows on this book. I would like to read the book again someday. If you can, I hope that you enjoy reading the book.

A book review "David Copperfield"

I’m going to write a book review “David Copperfield”. The book based the navel by Charles Dickens, and illustrated by Barry Ablett. The book is composed of 7 chapters. This famous tale tells the story of a young boy’s escape from an unhappy childhood into the adventures of adult life. Follow his dramatic journey as he encounters a cast of unforgettable characters.
The story began before David Copperfield was born. His mother is Clara Copperfield and her maid is Peggotty. Finally, he was born at his house. He, his mother and her maid lived in their snug little cottage, which had a garden brimming with flowers and butterflies. In winter, they spent reading books, did needlework or throw on more firewood. He loved his crocodile book most, with its terrifying pictures. Mr. Murdstone began to visit their house when he was eight years old. I thought when I red the scene that David like the man not so much but his mother like him very much, so David felt not comfortable.
One day, David and Peggotty went to Yarmouth. He was very glad because he had never seen the sea. He met Peggotty’s family who are Daniel, Ham and Emily. He enjoyed the first time but he was afraid of Mr. Murdstone little by little. David had never been to school because his mother gave him lesson at home. But he had to learn from the man very strictly. The man was too strict for him, so he climbed into the cart beside Mr. Barkis. He arrived at a school, but he was bullied in the classroom. He was said class mates, “Beware. He bites. ” Then, he was helping for one boy. The boy was tall and handsome. Next term he had his ninth birthday. He was hoping for a letter from home, so he was not surprised when Mr. Creakle called him into study. He had no money and no home. I felt very sad.
Ten years later, he confide that he was in love with Mr. Spenlow’s daughter. Her name is Dora, she looks like a perfect doll. He survive a rough period in his life many times for marrying her. Finally, he held her in his arms and felt my eyes fill with tears of pure joy. The story was so interested and excited.

My favorite circle

I'm going to talk about my favorite circle today. My favorite circle is English Speaking Society. The circle is my circle at KGU. I belonged to the ESS when I entered the school with my friends. ESS is a lot of fun circle for me to be active with my circle mates. We gather once a week, go to various kinds of places, and go to restaurant. The day when we gather is Wednesday. We enjoy spending the time each other. We hold a drinking party sometimes in evening. I like the party that takes part in only ESS members. We are so good friends, I like ESS very much! I'm looking forward to come to a school festival at KGU now.

From now, I am going to introduce my favorite high school memory. My favorite high school memories are volley ball club and a sport day in my high school. I belonged to a volley ball club, so I practiced playing the volley ball everyday with my club mates in my high school days. It was so hard, but I could get a great sense of achievement out of keeping going to the end with my friends. And then, my best memory in my high school days is a sport day. In the sport day, I did a member of a cheerleading. We did a dancing practice many times when it came to the sport day. We put on a hakama with a fillet around my head. A book review "The Impressionists"

From now, I will talk about a book review “The Impressionists”. The book was written by Rosie Dickins, and the book was illustrated by Freya Blackwood. The book is composed of nine contents. Its are Bright Impressions, Rules and Rebels, The great Outdoors, Modern Life, War, A New Start, Show Time, Different Directions, Final Years. The 1st chapter of the book was painted a dance party. It looked like very fun. The characters are Pissarro, Cassatt, Degas, Morisot, Monet, Renoir, and Sisley. They were maybe gentle men. I thought that I would like to go to the party, because the place was so beautiful and. They probably danced some party often. The next chapter was Rules and Rebels. In the 19th century, Paris was the capital of the art would. So many people practiced to draw lots of pictures of anything. I do not like to paint very much, but I felt so jealous that people painted a person with nice sketchbook and nice tool for painting. Chapter 3 was The Great Outdoors. Money would like to paint light and truth and nature. Bazille said “The old art is finished. We should be out painting real life… ” It was a little bit difficult for me to understand all things that they said. But I was just a little interested in painting. The 4th chapter was painted a beauty woman. The picture was so beautiful. Monet and the others began meeting about painting more and more often. They discussed each other for a long time. The next was War. They had to join the army or signed up for the National Guard defense force and Renoir ended up in the cavalry. In the country, lacked of the food and then many people felt sick. After the war, the 5th chapter was A New Start. People recovered their health little by little. They started painting again. In Paris, there were a lot of famous pictures. Show Time is the next contents. Four men hold a exhibition. The group was “Impressionists”. The exhibition succeeded. The 8th chapter was Different Directions. They spent many fun times to dance and drink and talk. They also went boating, swimming, and danced on the terrace in the evenings. The last chapter was Final Years. That was 1882 on wards. The chapter was closed-up of Banks of the River Loing. The picture was drawn by Sisley in 1885. It was drawn a river and some nature, I was impressed by the river was as smooth as glass. Monet draw the picture that is The Water Lily Pond. I thought that this work is full of the artist's deep love of nature. I wanted to appreciate many works of art more when I saw the picture. The picture was just one of several hundred lily paintings he made. I would like to read you this book, and then I hope that you feel wonderful when you see their pictures of nature.

Welcome to my homepage. From now, I will talk about One Piece in my homepage. I love One Piece so much! So I would like to give you a lot of informations of One Piece.

One Piece is a very famous and very popular comic in Japan. All of my friends know One Piece. They also know that I really like One Piece. Recently, One Piece broadcast animation on TV every Saturday. Of course, I watch the channel necessary. The comic is written by Eiichirou Oda. The place where he was born and brought up is Kumamoto. One Piece has so many characters. The story of the comic is an adventure of Monkey. D. Luffy, Rorornoa Zoro, Nami, Usoppu, Sanji, Toni. Toni. Choppa, Nico Robin, Furancky, and Brukku. They are aiming One Piece during they ride on a pirate ship, named the thousand sunny, and fight against.

October 14th

Today is October 14th, Thursday. It was sunny day. I woke up at 8:00 this morning, and I went to a school at 9:00. I had two classes, Biology and Writting. The 1st class is Biology. I learned many kinds of DNA. The teacher taught us a ribosomal, mitochondrial, chioroplast, Golgi, chlorophyll, RNA, and granum. It were so difficult and too many for me to remember all of the words, but I have learned some words. So I took notes on the lecture.
After the class, I met my senior. She was ahead of behind me at KGU. Her name is Arisa. She and I talked for a long time with sitting on the bench until the 2nd class finished the time. We are very good friends. We talked about all thing each other. She is so kind for me, I like her very much. It was a lot of fun.
When it came to the lunch time, I went to a bakery to have a lunch box with my friends. There were 6 people of my friends. I had a lunch box on talking with friends. It was so fun. We talked each other.
After that, I went to the 4th class, Writting. I learned in English during I used a textbook. I talked about a cup and ball in the textbook. A cup and ball is traditional toy in Japanese. The toy was very difficult for me when I was a child. It has a red ball and it made of wood so it is light.
Today, I had to go to a student affairs office to report to results for scholarship. I went back to home when I finished to submit the results.
I have to go to a school to take two lectures just on time absolutely. I will go to bed earlier than an usual. See you.

October 13th

I woke up at 7:40 in this morning, so I had to hurry rush to a school for taking a lesson. I took a shower very early, and I finished to a getup. I went to school at 8:45. An Usual, I could go to the class on time. But a car accident caused a very long traffic jam. So I could not escape from the traffic jam, I was at a loss. I couldn't go to Listening class on time. In the class, we watched movie and study in English again from the last week. My group is 4, there are 5 people including me. Some problems of our group were just a little difficult for us, but we cooperated each other to solve the problems. We could solve all problem of given. I was glad because the class finished very quickly today. After the break time of 10 minutes, I took Speaking class. The class is the same teacher, so I didn't need to move a room. We made a few fictitios family, I had to research and find my family. My fictitious family member were 5 people who were Emi, Mai, Kozue, Miki and I. I felt so funny because our family had no boys. Today's lesson was so fun.
After the class, Hiromi, Saya and I went to 1131 room in the lunch time to go to a sectional meeting. I paid for 1100 yen a this month portion. I went to work for school festival at KGU this month. I painted some wall with blue paint during I used a paint roller. And then, my senior of the circle treated us to anyting from120 yen to 130 yen. Thank you for treating me L chicken, Watarusann. It was pretty yam! I was looking forward to go to a drinking party, named volcano, tonight but I have no money so I couldn't go to the party.
I went back my home about 10:00. I ate a little things. Now, I got out of the bath. From now I am going to go to bed. Good night. Sleep well...(^ω^)

October 12th

I took three classes yesterday, so I was a little bit tired after the school. First class in the day is the Christian religion. My friend, Yuuko, she came to class. So I was very suprised. I have never seen her for a long time ago in the class. She and I talked each other anything. After the class, we said see you later. And then, I went to the room of next class. Second class was study and traning in foreign coutries. I wrote a report about home stay in Minnesota in this summer vacation. I have to write 1000 words in a report in English. It was so difficult for me to write a report in English. In the report, I wrote about the term that is The Food Culture of America. Now I wrote only 357 words, so I have to finish writting more until this year. If I can finish writting the report, I would like to introduce the report in this blog. I went to a student center like always with my friend after the class. It came to lunch time, so we had a lunch there. My friend bought a lunch at lawson. After a little time, the other friend came to there. We talked about a veiw of love for a long time. I had no class in the third class yesterday, we talked until the third class finished. We went to next class. Misaki and I looked for a new part-time job in the class. She slept soon, but I kept looking for a work during the class. The class was the history of America. That was boring for me. A teacher was very tired so the class finished earlier than usual. I went back to home as soon as the class finished, and Misaki went to a part-time job. Her part-time job is Seven Eleven. She have worked there since she was a high school student. When I went back to my house, I had a dinner with my father and my mother. And then, we watched TV last night. That's all.

October 11th

I woke up at about 8:30 last morning, and then I watched TV just a little time during I had a breakfast. After the breakfast, I took a shower and I prepared to a getup for working part-time job. I went to a Ninnnikuya at Hikarinomori again. Yesterday, I worked from 11:15 to 16:05. It was very hard for me because the waitress less than always. So I had to work more speedy. My friend, Aoi, she took a rest in the day because she had a high fever and nausea. I worried about her so much, so I sent a e-mail for her after the working.

My friend, Shiori, she and I went to MK restaurant after the working. We were very happy because we could not meet each other. It was hard to find a time that would be good for us. We ordered an shabu-shabu as soon as I arived there. We talked about all thing until the dishes came in our table. Finally, shabu-shabu came in. We ate so many beefs, porks, chickens, hakusai, enoki, tofu, komatuna. It was so yammy! We enjoyed the time for eating and talking. She has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Ryoma, he and I good friends too. We talked about him sometimes. He went to France several days ago, so she looked like very sad. But they have i-phone, so they can do a TV phone everyday. I felt easy about them after I heard that, but I thought that they are so lonely even though they can do a TV phone everyday. So we decided to meet each other regularly even if we are so busy. I had a Chinese-style almond jelly after I finished to eat shabu-shabu. It was sweet and delicious. When I was a child, I did not like the dessert but I love the dessert now. It grew on the dessert. Finally we said good-bye.

I went back to my home. I watched TV with my family. Yesterday, my sister precticed a lot of volleyball games at Ashikita. Ashikita is so far from my home. So she was very tired. She and I went to bed soon.

Today, I was very tired because I worked long time. I woke up at about nine o'clock this morning. I had a breakfast with my brother. I ate a soup, pan and scrambled eggs. After that, I did a shower. I went to youme town at Hikarinomori. And then, I worked hard. My friend, Aoi, and I worked together. My boss gave me a break time, so I had a pasta kind of meat souce and I took a short nap. After the break time, I worked again. When I was working, my friend of junior high school age came to my restaurant. She and I were very suprised. She took her boyfriend at there. We talked only a little time but it was a lot of fun. I met a teacher of elemently school age too. Tonight, the restaurant was a little free so I could go back home early. I watched a movie of Indiana Jones's adventure on TV. It was very excited and so fun for me. I was very tired so I will go to bed from now. Good night...

Yesterday, I worked at a reatautrant of my part-time job from 11:00 to 15:00. Last morning, I would wake up earlier than the time when I woke up. So I had to hurr up for going to there. After I arrived at there, I worked very hard. I met a lot of people, I talked them, I carried many dishes and drinks, and I was ordered them so many menus. It was so hard for me because I was sick until evening of last Friday. But It was pretty fun and happy because they sometimes said to me "Thank you very much, I was a lot of fun, The restaurant is very nice, I want to come back again someday," when they finished eating and they went out there. So I like my part-time job. I would love to continute the job. I ate a pasta kind of carbonara after the working at there. It was so yammy. After that, I went back to my house. My father was not home the day because he went to Amakusa where is his country for fishing with his brother. So my mother, my brother and I ate Kentucky Fried Chicken at home. Recently, I don't eat Kentucky so I felt more derisious. I watched TV after the dinner. I went to bed at about 23:00.

When I woke up early today, I felt very ill. So I didn't go to the 1st class. My mother said to me "If you can, I would like to go to a school because all classes are very important. " Then, I was just a little good before I woke up. So I went to school for taking the 2nd class. Today's lesson was pretty fun. We learned many things in the class. The person who an representative of American novel are Sherwood Anderson, Ellen Glasgow, and Gertrude Stein. They wrote famous novel. That's Winesburg, Ohio. I also learned novel of Lost Generation. There is jazz age which is important word. The most famous novel of Lost Generation is The Great Gatsby. The novel written by Francis Scott Fitzgerald.
We watched the end of Fitzgerald's life on Takarazuka Girls' Operetta Troupe. That was so fun. The girls of Takarazuka were very beautiful. The actor who was acting Fitzgerald was wonderful acting and she had a cool face. The other actor who was acting his wife, Zelda Sayer Fitzgerald, was nice acting but her character was not good. He found of her bad character, but he liked her very much. I thought that I can't understand that why he liked her and he lived with her whole life. He was a very excell writer but his wife was gone mad for him. I regreted him. But the acting of Takarazuka was pretty gorgeous so I satisfied.
My friends of my circlemates and I discussed again lunch time in the day after the class. And then, I went back to home as soon as the discussion finished. I took a short nap in my bedroom. And now, I'm going to eat dinner with my father and my mother. I will hit the sack as soon as I finish eating to go to a part-timr job in tomorrow. Fare well.

I had a cold yesterday. I went to a school to take a biology class about nine o'clock. I learned gene recombination . It was a little bit difficult but it was interested in the contents for me. After the class, I went to a library at KGU. And then, I wrote a blog with using the computer. Recently, I write a blog every day. But I have to write more. It came to the lunch time, I went to 1131 room to discuss a matter with my friends of my sophomore circlemates. The discussion was very seriously. October 6th

I will talk about my school life for yesterday. This morning was too cold for me to get up. But I got up at almost 6:3o a.m. I don't know why I got up early this morning over all the time. So I could eat breakfast and I prepared slowly to go to school. I went to my school for taking yesterday's lessons.

The 1st class was Listening Ⅳ. The class of today was a little bit difficult but I could understand that I have to read a composition in English more speedy. I cooperated with friends of my group and solved some problems in the story.

Next, the 2nd class was Speaking Ⅳ. I had to say an opinion in the class. We learned that a point of similarity between John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln. They had so many similarity, so I was very suprised. From now, I would like to introduce the similarity for them.

In November 1963, he and his wife planned to go to Dallas. His secretary, named Lincoln, advised him not to go, but he went anyway, and was shot in the head on Friday, November 22, 1963, as he drove through Dallas in a Ford Lincoln Continental. He died almost immediately, and Vice- president Lyndon Johnson became President. The man who prebably shot Kennedy, Lee Harvey Oswald, shot him from a warehouse and escaped to a theater. He died before he came to trial.

What do you think about the history of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy? I was unbelievable so much when I red the history on first time. But I thought that they couldnot be pretty great men, and people probably supported them overwhelming.

By the way, after the classes, I worked to prepare for a school festival, named Takumasai, at KGU. Yesterday, we made a lot of walls for a exhibition. We also drived in a nail, and repeated the working. It was a little hard for me but I enjoyed the working with my circlemate. After the working, we took a break time and I ate cookie, ice and odenn. That was pretty yammy! And we worked again. Finally, I turned back my house and I slept soon.

A book review "Megan the Monday Fairy"

From now, I write a book review "Megan the Monday Fairy". The book written by Daisy Medows. This story made from 6 contents. The contents are Off to Fairyland!, The Time Tower, A Clever Clue, Finding the Flag, Clock-Watching and Time for Fun.
I thought that the story seems absolutely too good to be true when I red the book on first time. The mainly characters of the story are Kirsty Tate and her friend, Rachel Walker. They are very good friends. They are going to stay together during vacation. They are so pretty girls and they have a cute dream. They would love to be able to tap dance. They also are interesting in fashion of like a dancer. So, one day, they went to a street to see lots of dresses into a nearby window. They looked like so execited when they looked at the dresses. There were so many white tutus, satin ballet slippers, with pink ribbons, and sparkly tap shoes. The store was called Dancing Days. Just then, the door opened and a lady came out, followed by a girl with a long, brown ponytail. The girl was Rachel's friend, Karen. The other woman was her mother. She has tap class, so Kirsty and Karen became to good friends soon. After the saying to Karen see you, Kirsty and Rachel walked through the iron gate and across the grass. And then, they looked a tiny golden sparkes were hovering and dancing above the sundial! To my suprise a frog hopped out. They went to Fairyland for taking a frog.
In Fairyland, threre were the silver palace with its four pink towers. There also were King Oberon and Queen Titania. The King and the Queen requested them to help us. There were some girls but they liked like very unhappy. The reason why they looked sad was Jack Frost has stolen the Fun Day Flags. They needed Megan the Monday Fairy, but nobody there. The Queen took Kirsty and Rachel masic pool. They met a girl who is Megan the Monday Fairy. She wore a purpley-blue dress with a red sash, and her long, glossy black hair. Suddenly, Jack Frost came to there and he snatched the Monday Fun Flag from the flagpole and zoomed away, cackling. That was too bad for people because it is so important for people to protect the flags.
I tought that they are very sad people when I red a Rachel cried scene. Some of Jack Frost's goblins stolen all the Fun Day Flags. I would like to stop doing a piece of mischief. Finally, Jack Frost was trapped for trick. He was very soaked, and then he yelled loudy. "Help!" "Goblins have no time for fun, so Fun Day Flags, you must be gone!" A cloud of magic sparkles swirled out of the watch, and the Book of Days appeared in Francis's hands. I was pretty glad when I looked at that. Maybe, they cannot be very happy. After the Jack and some of goblins went out anyway, there were the poem.
"Searching near and searching far, I know where the Fun Day Flags are. Look for
Monday with the shoes. Tip and tap are your two clues."
People fond the Flag as soon as the poem red. Rachel was so excitedly, and she remembered this morning. She taught Kirsty that soon. They remembered that they would go to Karen's lesson this morning. They took by magic of Queen Titania away to Tippington Town Hall. There is Karen, but she looked like very sad. She said when I turned around, my bag was gone. Kirsty fond that goblin is holding her bag. Goblin also was holding Megan's flag. That was too bad again. Suddenly, the door of the Clock Tower flew open. The goblin rushed out, groaning loudly. He was trying to hang on to Karen's bag and cover his ears at the same time, but the bag kept slipping from his grasp. I felt very free.
It came to time for fun. Rainbow magic looks like a lot of fun for me too. They cannot be enjoyed the so many times of the fun day fairies. Tara the Tuesday Fairy!!!

Yesterday was sleepy for me. 1st class in the day was the Christian religion. Yesterday's lesson was difference of Judaism and Christianity. I was interested in the lesson because I have gone to church with my host mom when I was in Minnesota. There were many people, a pipe organ and the Bible. They were singing several sacred songs. The songs were very slowly and nice songs. So I learned many things in the class. 2nd class is study and training about abroad. But the class was cancellation. I did not know the truth in addition to everyone did not know the thing. So I went to a student center at KGU with my friend. And then, I talked her for a long time there. We are so good friends. We talked about each other seriously. After the talking, we went to library and we borrowed the three books to write a book review of my blog. We went to e-campus center and we did lots of home works of English classes. I wrote a blog in English and I did typing homework. My friend, Haruka, she slept at the very end of the play. 4th class was history of the United Kingdom. The class was slept me while I took the lesson. Teacher of the class was very old. I finished the classes of my all classes.I went to a restaurant of my part-time job in youme town Hikarinomori. Yesterday was pretty free for me. At the restaurant, there were only 3 people but very free. So I finished working at almost 9:oo p.m. After I finished the part-time job, I met a friend of high school days. She is Yumi. She and I were surprised that we met each other after a long time ago. We talked a few times there. We didn't want to say good-bye but we had to say goo-bye. Finally, I went back my house. Today was a little bit hard for me to take 4 classes. At first, I took writting Ⅲ. I was late to go to school about 30 minutes. Next, I took politics with my friend. We learned politics of Europe in the class. It was pretty interesting for me. The fourth of classes was the history of Easten. Today's lesson was so difficult because the lesson as mathematics. But I would never give up to take the class. The end of classes was Reading Ⅲ. We learned so many words in English. We probably got a lot of words in English in the class. I would like to use them in everyday. And then, I want to get a new part-time job now. I got town work today, so I gave several example of shops. Recently, there is a worldwide depression slump in business. I have no money. That is exactly why I must use lots of money carefully. For that reason, I have to use many money more carefully as possible as.
By the way, I'm looking forward to do a school festival at KGU. I will start prefering to the school festival maybe this week. My circle is going to make a toasted rice ball and a soup of Japanese style and Chinese style. It looks like so nice food! I hope that the rice ball become to a strong seller in my school.
In the evening, I ate peices of pan-fried gyoza, teriyaki chicken, katsuo (in which the outer surface is lightly grilled, leaving the inner flesh raw, usually served in slices with onion or other pungent herbs), some grapes and a pear. Today's dinner was very gorgeous for me, my family and I ate dinner together after a log day so I was very glad. And now, I'm watching "sekaimarumie" on TV with my brother now. It is pretty funny. I think that the time of spending with family is very important.
I also have to do power words in English. I do not finish the homework, so I would like to finish level 7 of power words to get learning many words in English. I must finish 20 units untill at least this month. I finished 7 units now. Even more, I also have to write a blog in English. I went to a library with my friends today, so I ought to write a book reveiw.

The parade in the center of Kumamoto city

Last saturday, I paraded through in Kumamoto city with my friends of my circle. It was pretty fun and so hard for me because the day was very hot and we walked all the day. We preferred to a lot of dresses and a portable shrine to parade. The theme was "Dear all friends~Who is the person you want to say thank you?~". My circle made a devil. It is pretty cool. The day, we woke up at about 4:oo A.M. It was very early for me. A Book review "Castles"

Today, read a book “Castles”. Nobody knows about the book’s story because this is the first time that I borrow a book from a library at KGU. The book was written by Stephanie Turnbull and designed by Laura Parker. This book has 17 contents. 17 are High on a hill, A huge home, Types of castles, The keep, Castle life, Fun and games, Hunting, In the kitchen, Fabulous feasts, Knights, At a joust, Attack!, Fighting back, Castle in ruins, Glossary of castle words, Web sites to visit and Index. The first topic is High on a hill. Some castles were built on cliffs, so they had a good view out to sea. The picture is very nice and wonderful. I want to go to there when I looked at the picture. The castle looks like to have a history. The second topic is A huge home. Castles were built for rich people such as lords and ladies or kings and queens. There are a lot of settlements. Rich people had two or three castles. If they were tired of one, they moved to another. The kings and queens of the distant past have many castles. I felt envious of them because I want to live in big castle, but it is impossible for me too much. The third topic is Types of castles. Some castles had water around them. This is called a moat. The moat helped to keep out enemies. People crossed the moat on a wooden platform called a drawbridge. The drawbridge was pulled up with chains of an enemy came near. I feel that people are very smart to think the intricate of castles. The fourth topic is The keep. Castles were always full of rats. Can you spot ten rats in the keep? There were lots of rooms. The castle has a bedroom, chapel, great hall, guard room and storeroom. The next topic is Castle life. Curtains around the bed kept them snug and warm. Servants had to sleep on the hard, cold floor. Store castles could be damp and chilly. Huge fires helped to keep rooms warm. People had baths in big wooden tubs. Servants heated the water over a fire. Castles were noisy places. Servants worked, children played games and dogs barked. I want to spend many times when I saw this picture. The room looks like comfortable. After that, Fun and games. There were no televisions in castle time. Many castles had a jester. His job was to tell jokes and make everyone laugh. The picture is very fun and interesting. And then, I talk about Hunting. Lords and ladies enjoyed hunting. Birds called falcons were trained to hunt. Here are four stages of training a falcon. It was very fashionable to own a falcon. People took them everywhere. The eighth topic is In the kitchen. Castles didn’t have refrigerators, so food went bad quickly. Cooks added spices to disguise the horrible taste. The next topic is Fabulous feasts. There were no forks in castle times. People usually ate with their fingers. Amazing models made of sugar and papers were carried in to impress the guest. The tenth topic is Knights. Knights were rich, important soldiers. They helped to protect castles against enemies. Knight is very cool and gentle. I want to marry as knight. First a knight put on a thick, padded vest. Over this he wore a shirt made of metal. Metal plates covered his arms, legs and chest. Then he put on a long top and big gloves. He wore a heavy metal helmet on his head. He carried a wooden shield to protect him. The eleventh topic is At a joust. The winner of a joust got a prize. Sometimes he won the losing knight’s horse and weapons. The next topic is Attack! Sometimes castles were attacked. Enemies often used a machine called a catapult. This old painting shows a huge battle in front of a castle as enemies try to take it over. The next topic is Fighting back. The soldiers were armed with bows and sharp arrows. They fired arrows through thin slits in the wall. The final topic is Castles in ruins. This is how Raglan Castle, in Wales, might have looked 400 years ago. This tower was blown up, but part of it still stands. The book is very fun and interesting. I want to know a lot of castle in the world when I finished reading the book. Please read this book everyone!!!

A book review "Bears"

Today, I read a book “Bears”. The book is written by Emma Helbrough, and designed by Michelle Lawrence and Josephine Thompson. The book is composed 17 contents. 17 are Hairy bears, Young cubs, Snowy dens, Growing up, Furry coats, Paw and claws, Lunchtime, Sneaky hunters, Fishing fun, Climbing trees, Standing up, Super swimmers, Hot and cold, Playtime, Glossary of bear words, Web sites to visit, and Index. I think that I read this book because I like bears very much and it is interesting for me to know many kinds of bears. Everyone is afraid of bears, but I don’t think so. In fact, bears are very kind. First, I talk about Hairy bears. The picture of brown bears is big and they have small eyes and ears. My heart was comforted, began to get over my pain. The next is Young cubs. Baby bears called cubs. They are born in winter in small caves or hollow trees. Cubs are very cute and very small better than mother bears. Mother bears feed cubs on breast milk. As you can see the picture, cubs and their mother are bound by rigid ties. Cubs spend most of the time in their den sleeping and drinking milk. After that, I talk about Snowy dens. Polar bear cubs are born in winter too. Polar bear cubs have very white fur, which turns creamy as they grow older. Snow dens are very warm inside, so polar bear cubs take a while to get used to the cold outside. It is very difficult for me to spend a day in the South Pole region, but it is a matter of course for them. Next topic is Growing up. In the spring, cubs leave the den with their mother. Cubs spend a lot of time exploring, but they stay close to their mother. Mother bears usually take care of cubs. It is very hard for me to take care of child. Because mother bears are wonderful. I look at he picture, I want to be a mother. Next are Furry coats. All bears are covered in thick fur. The cubs grab a chunk of her fur with their front paws. They scramble up and hold on tight. Then she stands up. I often wear cloth of fur. I like fur, but fur is very expensive for me. The sixth topic is Paws and claws. Some bears use their claws like a comb to keep their fur clean and neat. Pandas have an extra bone in each paw. They use it to grip bamboo plants to eat. Panda is very cute. I remember that I went to zoo with my family and relations when I was 5 years old. The 7 topic is Lunch time. Most bears eat something such as plant, fruit, nuts and insects. We eat something too. A sun bear knocks a bees’ neat out of a tree with its paws. It uses its long claws to break into the bees’ nest. Then, it licks up the honey inside with its long tongue. Bears like honey very much. The same goes for us, too. They eat honey everyday. Some bears eat thousands of caterpillars in a day. After that, I talk about Sneaky hunters. Brown bears pounce on small animals, such as squirrels and mice. They will even jump into water to hunt for food. It is very smart to hunt seal pups which live in tunnels under the ice. The next is Fishing fun. Bears that live near rivers go fishing. They catch and eat huge salmon. Brown bears usually catch about 15 salmon in a day. Brown bears are wild animals. The tenth topic is Climbing trees. A cub digs its claws into a tree trunk. It grips the trunk with its back paws. Then it pulls itself up with its front paws. I like climbing when I was a child as bears. The eleventh topic is Standing up. Bears also stand up to rub their backs on trees, so they can shake off loose fur. The next topic is Super swimmers. Polar bears are very good swimmers. They can swim for hours without stopping. I like swimming too. I went to a swimming school when I was a junior school student. I had gone to swimming school for 9 years. Those days are very nice. And then, Hot and cold. Bears live in many different places. Some live in hot forests and others live high up in cold mountains. In Japan, the four seasons are clearly distinguished. My favorite season is spring because spring is very beautiful and comfortable. The scenery of this picture is very beautiful. The final topic is Playtime. Cubs are very playful, but adult bears play too. I am playful too. Bears often lie on their backs and play with sticks and stones. I want to play with cubs when I see the picture. This story is all. I’m very glad to finish reading the book. I want to go to zoo one more time, and I want to look at bears and cubs. Giving instructions

According to Yoshi’s recipe, the fish and the lotus root are prepared separately. Below are his instructions for preparing the lotus root. So slice four thin slices. Now we have to put these in a bowl and cover them with vinegar immediately. Now make sure all the pieces are covered. Half a teaspoon of salt… Now the lotus root has to be soaked, too, and …so we have to make the mixture. …So let’s just transfer this over to the saucepan now. Then you should add the following ingredients: four tablespoons of sugar… Now we can take those pieces out and just put them over on the paper towel over there. Now stir it up. Now, we’re going to heat that for about a minute. We’ll let it cool for a few seconds and then we’ll add the lotus root and let that soak for maybe twenty minutes.

BLT sandwich

Today, I’m going to tell you how to make a BLT sandwich. BLT stands for bacon, lettuce and tomato and it is my favorite food. First, you need three or four stripes of bacon, which you will fry in a frying pan until they are crispy. Set those aside. Then, you will need two slices of bread, which you will toast lightly. When those are ready, you need prepare two leaves of lettuce and two or three slices of tomato. Then, you spread mayonnaise on the two slices of bread. Then, on one slice of bread place the lettuce and sliced tomato. After that, add the bacon stripes. Finally, add the second piece of bread and cut in half. You’re ready for a great lunch!!

A Book review "Tree"

Today, July 15th, I read a book “Tree”. This book is written by Lisa Jane Gillespie, and designed by Helen Edmonds. The book is composed 18 contents. 18 are A leafy would, Standing tall, Growing strong, Food factories, Types of trees, Changing seasons, Fancy flowers, Tasty treats, Hanging on, Tree houses, Tough trees, Crawling with life, Trees in trouble, Protecting trees, Glossary, Websites to visit, and Index. The reason why I read the book, I like nature very much. I want to know trees because I think that I and nature have to live together. Recently, the environment is being destroyed by pollution. The pollution is produced by our life. First, I talk about A leafy world. I am impressed the tree’s picture. The picture is very beautiful and wonderful. There are many different types of trees. As you can know, nature have many kind of trees. The next is Standing tall. Trees are tall, woody plants that can live for hundreds of years. A spruce tree in Sweden is the oldest tree in the world. It is almost 10000 years old. I understood that the mechanism of trees. It was very interesting for me. The strong trunk supports the branches. Water travels from the roots through the trunk to the branches. The third topic is Growing strong. The first shoot and roots begin to grow from the seed. The roots soak up water. The shoot grows up to the surface. It becomes a seedling with leaves and buds. Heat from the Sun and water from the soil help the seedling grow into a sapling. My favorite picture of this book is the tall fir tree. The picture is very nice and wonderful. The fourth topic is Food factories. Sunlight shines on the leaf. Air goes into tiny holes on the leaf’s underside. The next topic is Types of trees. There are thousands of different kinds of trees. There are three main tree groups. Broadleaf trees, Evergreen trees and Palm trees. Palm trees are in the sea. I like the best is Palm trees of three trees because I love sea. I will go to sea with my friends in this summer. After that, Changing seasons. Some broadleaf trees look very different at different times of year. Evergreen trees are never bare. They lose their leaves and grow new ones all year long. And then, I talk about Fancy flowers. Inside a flower there is a sticky powder called pollen, and a sweet juice called nectar. Insects drink the nectar and pollen sticks to their bodies. The one after the next, Hanging on. Lots of different plants and mushrooms grow on trees. Velvet foot mushrooms grow in groups on tree trunks. The tenth topic is Tree houses. Bald eagles build huge nests in very tall trees. The nest is called an eyrir. Raccoons sleep in holes in trees to stay warm during the cold winter. Koalas sleep for most of the day in eucalyptus trees. They eat the leaves, too. I think that koala is very cute. Next topic is Tough trees. Jand tree grow in deserts in India. Their long roots reach water far under the ground. African baobab trees have huge trunk that can store water for the dry, summer months. Boojum trees grow in dry parts of America. Their wood holds lots of water like a sponge. The twelfth topic is Crawling with life. This sphinx moth has patterns on its body that match the bark of the tree and help it hide from danger. The next is Trees in trouble. Trees are chopped down so the wood can be used for fuel and to make paper. Forests are cleaned so land can be used for farming and to build towns or roads. The final topic is Protecting trees. There are lots of ways to save trees for the future. I am very interesting to protect trees. I think that we have to live together nation. Trees are very important to give rise to the shiny green of the forests. I’m very sad nothing trees, because humans don’t live in our life. I want to protect the environment in the future.694words

Today, I write about my friend "Haruka". She is so very cute, very fun, very excited girl. She and I are very good friends. I think that she is liked by everyone, because she is very kind. She is a student at Kumamoto Gakuen University. I'm a student at KGU too. We have a lot of memory at school each other. I remember her that she had a golden hair when we take part in entrance into a school. We are close friendship when we went to freshman camp. We study in English everyday. A Book reveiw is "What a Trip, Amber Brown"

I read a book “What a Trip Amber Brown”.　It is very fun and excited for me to read this book.　The story started to next words“I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream.”I have heard that a phrase before. Do you know the phrase? Then, Danny just screams. “Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!”Danny is only three years old and he is Justin’s little brother. A main character, Amber Brown’s family and Justin’s family are close friendship. They are going to go to Poconos when both dads are coming up on the weekend. In a car, Amber Brown, her mom, Justin, Danny, and their mom (Mrs. Danny) converse the plan. Then, Justin and Amber Brown are playfully, poke a nose each other. They make blowfish faces at each other while talking with mom. This time, they hear a really disgusting sound behind them. Danny isn’t done poke Justin and Amber Brown noses. And, they drive some more. Finally, they arrived at a big white house. Amber and Justin played many things. Tree with a swing, swimming pool… Amber Brown and Justin Daniels started keeping things tidy and in order. They are an odd pair. After that, they go downstairs and our moms give them bananas. They pretend to be money. I like the best picture of the book. I think so that Amber was very happy to play with Justin. I looked this scene; I think that I want to back to childhood as Amber and Justin. They look like happiness. From the woods, they looked at deer. Justin started singing, because he think deer maybe it belongs to Santa and it’s on vacation. He pokes the deer’s nose. The deer leaves. Their moms said them to “It’s okay if your father will sleep out with you,” “Ask your dad when he calls tonight.” Danny invited them swimming pool. Amber, Justin, and Danny went swimming pool. Danny and Justin like to swim.
They can swim, but Amber afraid to swim. Amber wears a life jacket. Justin splashes her over and over. In time, she was totally mad. His mom yells at him. Amber was angry. But Justin said her to sorry because they were friends again in no time. After that, three people play again. Their dads are putting up the tent. It starts to get dark. The tent’s ready. Amber and Justin made hotdog kebabs with onions, little tomatoes, and marshmallows. Everyone sit around singing songs and TV ads. Then the ghost stories start. Amber and Justin are very scary. It’s getting darker. Her lightning bugs are flashing. She wonder what animals are out at night in the Poconos. Her dad says” Time to go to sleep.” Amber Brown check very carefully, and sleep. They go to sleep very quickly. Then, it sounds like a Danny giggle. It is Danny, and he doesn’t have any clothes on. I think that Danny was very lonely to no Amber and Justin. Mr. Daniels has his arms around Danny. Danny looks very happy to be there. I also like this scene’s picture. Her dad phones the house to let our moms know, the case will be closed. It is very fortune for me to the end of the book. This book is a recommended by me.

Today, I introduce my book review is a"A SNAKE MISTAKE". I think that what a pity snake when I read the story. The snake's name is Jake. One day, Farmer Henry's chickens were not laying enough eggs. Because, he think that "some fake eggs are in their nest, chickens are sure that some fake eggs are their eggs." It written by a book for help. Farmer Henry found a box of bulbs, it was became some fake eggs. Farmer Henry don't worry the eggs, and go out. Then, Jake want into the chicken coop, so Jake wanted eggs. Chickens screamed for help. Jake opened his mouth wide and...swallowed one egg, then another. Farmer Henry heard a lot of shout in the chickens.
Cluck! Cluck! Cluck! Cluck! Cluck-cluck!
He ran out of his house as fast as he could. But, Farmer Henry found Jake, and he said. "You look like so very sick snake! But you should not have been in my chicken coop!" Farmer Henry put Jake down and started back toward the house, but he soon turned around. He could not let Jake just lie there.
"I will take you to the animal hospital. Maybe the doctors will know what to do."
I think that Farmer Henry was very kind and very gentle when I read the scene. The doctors looked at Jake. They said, "Very odd,""Hmmm." They took an x-ray to look Jake's abdomen. They said, "Very odd,""Hmmm." It was something surprising in the abdomen. Jake must be operated right away. Farmer Henry waited a long time outside the operating room. And then, a doctor came out. Farmer Henry asked "Is Jake all right?", because he was very very anxiety. "He's all right now," said the doctor. "We operated on him before the light bulbs broke inside his stomach." Jake was all right in afew days. Farmer Henry gave a big party. Welcome home, Jake. I'm glad to read the book. I like the happyend very much!!!

My Essay about Kumamoto

Self-introduction

Today, I introduce my map about local cuisine of Kumamoto.First, I like something food of Kumamoto. Ikinari-dango, Basashi(raw horse meat), Musyagaeshi, Karashi-renkon, Taipinyan, Suika...ect. Especially that I talk about Suika in Ueki.

I live in Ueki in Kumamoto now. Suika is a local specialty of Ueki. Suika is water melon. It is very sweet and fresh. Water melon is an enjoyment particular to the summer season. My family likes water melon very much. Of course, I like water melon very much.

Suika is a green, black stripes are the way, but It's contents are red. The water melon is greenhouse vegetables. I have grown the water melon when I'm a junior high school student. It was very difficult for me to raise water melon, but we tried very hard to raise water melon importantly. Result, A very delicious watermelon was able to be made up. I gave my family to raise water melon. My family was joyful. I looked at them very happy too.

The flesh is　juicy 90% or more. The flesh is bright red, and is sweet and, in general, multi soup though there are various kinds. Fruits are sliced to the fragment completely, and it eats the salt by the favor sprinkling a small amount. A hard outside film is taken, and the skin is made pickles and a vinegary dish.

Do you like Suika? I like Suika very much!!! Suika in Ueki is very juicy, sweet, fresh, and very nice fruit. Suika in Ueki is most famous in Japan. I am and there are a lot of watermelon farmers in the acquaintance. They put love until the evening from early morning and raise the water melon. Because, I want to eat Suika in the future.
